Mentorship Availability: Currently accepting applications.
Work with writers, directors, producers, directors of photography, editors and others, on POWER UP's second feature film.

This January POWER UP is producing GIRLTRASH: All Night Long. The film is written by Angela Robinson (The L Word, Hung, Girltrash, D.E.B.S.) , will be directed by Alex Kondracke (The L Word) produced by Lisa Thrasher (Itty Bitty Titty Committee, Starcrossed) and Angela Robinson and executive produced by POWER UP founder Stacy Codikow (Itty Bitty Titty Committee, Under the Hula Moon, D.E.B.S.).

This is a tremendous opportunity to get hands on experience, participate in the creation of a motion picture, establish relationships and have fun.
TO APPLY FOR A MENTORSHIP POSITION:
  1. You must be a POWER UP Professional, Silver or Gold member in good standing through October 1, 2010;
  2. You must provide a (a) resume; and (b) a one page essay stating your goals and why you feel this mentorship will help you to achieve them;
  3. You must be available to participate during the filmmaking process - film shoot dates are currently scheduled for January 18 – February 6, 2010, pre-production occurring before and post after (dates are subject to change);
  4. You must also be available to attend a mandatory mentee meeting on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. AND  meetings with filmmakers on evenings and/or weekends during pre-production and on evenings and/or weekends during post-production; and
  5. All mentees understand that they are under a work-for-hire agreement for good and valuable consideration hereby acknowledged, and as such hold absolutely no rights in and/or to the film whether or not their contribution was used. All mentees hereby authorize POWER UP to use their name, voice, likeness and/or any other representation for any purpose without any additional consideration. All mentees can be terminated at any time without cause.
